AceOffers is in the business of intermediating between consumers who wish to receive highly valuable promotions and offers of goods and services and companies who offer those promotions, goods and services.
The AceOffers Privacy Policy is our way of ensuring the safety and accuracy of our users' personal information, whether gathered on this site, by our clients, or by our partners.
Information We Gather
AceOffers gathers information about users (such as name, postal address, e-mail address, gender, other demographic information, etc.) from the AceOffers website and from the sites of our Network Partners and affiliates. AceOffers only receives information about users who have voluntarily agreed to receive offers from third party marketers such as AceOffers and our affiliates.
AceOffers tracks, individually and in aggregate, the view, open, click-through, and unsubscribe behavior of e-mail message recipients and reports such behavior to our marketer clients. We, or our Network Partners and affiliates, may, from time to time, append users' contact information with additional, readily available, demographic and psychographic information so that we can ensure that our subscribers receive only the most relevant, targeted offers and information from AceOffers.
Use of Information
AceOffers uses information voluntarily given by the users of the AceOffers website and the websites of our Network Partners and our affiliates in order to provide these users with information on products and/or services that may be of interest to them.
Sharing of Information
All personally-identifiable data provided by individuals is maintained in
confidence by AceOffers. There are instances, however, in which
personally-identifiable and non-personally identifiable information is
shared with third-parties, as described below.
The non-personally identifiable data may be shared with third-party partners
of AceOffers on an anonymous basis.
With respect to personally-identifiable information, AceOffers may,
from time to time, provide information to certain third-party administrative
vendors for efficiency purposes in providing administrative services such as
e-mail delivery, or for other services related to providing
AceOffers's products or services. Any third-party vendor so used will
be required to enter into a confidentiality agreement with AceOffers.
AceOffers may also share personally-identifiable information with
third-parties who enter into business relationships with us. These business
partners may include financial service providers (including credit bureaus
and insurance agents); non-financial companies (including retailers, online
and offline advertisers, membership list vendors, direct marketers and
publishers); companies that perform marketing services on our behalf, and
others such as non-profit organizations.
To the extent permitted by law, AceOffers may
provide data to be used in connection with individual reference and look-up service
programs (i.e., services used primarily to identify, locate, or verify the identity of an individual).
We may also disclose information to
a third-party who provides substantially similar services as AceOffers.
In such situations, users will be provided with an
opportunity to opt-out of such sharing. Please be aware that AceOffers
is very careful about which companies it does business with.
AceOffers may share information on individuals as it deems
necessary to comply with a court order or to cooperate with government and
law enforcement officials.
If users indicate that they do not want to have their e-mail address shared
with third parties for general e-mail marketing solicitations, AceOffers will
limit the use of their data to certain direct marketing services. These services
currently include the provision of personally identifiable information to third
parties to validate and enhance existing information held by marketers about their customers.
For example, in the case where a marketer lawfully possesses information about a user, e.g.,
through a transaction with such user, that marketer may use personally identifiable
data provided by AceOffers to add information about the user to its own file for
use by that marketer in its own direct or online marketing efforts. Similarly, a
marketer may use such data merely to verify or validate the accuracy of data about
such user that the marketer already possesses. In addition, a marketer may use
information provided by AceOffers to suppress further marketing messages being
sent by such marketer to a user.
AceOffers does not permit ongoing e-mail solicitations to be sent to
individuals who have opted-out from receiving e-mail solicitations.
AceOffers does not rent, license, or sell personal data to third parties without users'
specific permission except in the event of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets of AceOffers
as a going-concern, or change of control, in which case such data would be considered a
business asset and would be transferred subject to the terms of this privacy policy.
You Can Control the Use of Your Information
At any time, you have the right to choose not to receive offers from AceOffers or any of our partners, and every e-mail we send has an option to unsubscribe.
AceOffers provides users the option to opt-out from receiving information sent via e-mail on behalf of third party advertisers and to opt-out from AceOffers sharing information with advertisers or third party marketers for promotional purposes. Users may opt-out at any time by following the instructions contained in every AceOffers e-mail message or by using the "unsubscribe" form at http://aceoffers.com/unsubscribe.html. Currently, AceOffers does not offer users a means by which to completely delete personal data.
Information sent by AceOffers is prepared days in advance, so users may continue to receive e-mail from AceOffers for up to 72 hours after following the unsubscribe procedures detailed above.
Other Web sites and Your Privacy
Like many websites on the Internet, AceOffers links to pages located on websites maintained by various other organizations not bound by our Privacy Policy. Once you select a link that takes you to another website, you are subject to the privacy policy of the website containing that page. The privacy policy of other organizations may differ in the level of security, use of cookies and use of personally identifiable information.
We have no control over any personal information you choose to provide those websites.
Security
We utilize the latest technology to house our database. To protect our database we use a complex system of backups and firewall technology. These technologies are deployed as part of a sophisticated security architecture and protocol. All data resides in a tightly controlled, secure data center.
No Cookies
We do not use "cookies" to collect personal information, and we do not use cookies to retrieve information from your computer for purposes that are unrelated to the website or your interaction with the website.
General
AceOffers's services are not directed to nor intended for children under the age of 13. Whether for itself or for its clients, AceOffers will not knowingly collect or maintain personally identifiable information for anyone under 13.
